Sous Chef

We are looking for an enthusiastic Sous Chef to join our passionate and hard-working kitchen team. Within our team, you will create and cook for our daily-changing dinner menu, using fresh, local and seasonal produce for our hotel guests.

What we are looking for...

  • All-round experience and skills are required for this role, with knowledge of a variety of dishes beneficial
  • Ability to plan and prepare starters
  • Experience of dessert-making would be an advantage (but not essential) to assist pastry chef
  • Ability to cover the head chef for holidays would be required
  • Enthusiasm essential but training on the job will be given to the right candidate

About the role...

  • Full time position - 42-45 hours per week over 5 days
  • Share of tronc tips
  • Fixed weekly rota
  • Free staff meals provided on duty
  • Free uniform provided
  • 28 days holiday per year

  • All year round permanent position with Christmas and New Year off

Living-in accommodation could be provided.
