Reflecting on our year

As 2023 draws to a close, we can look back and reflect on another year at the Trefeddian.

Welcoming new guests is always wonderful and seeing familiar faces, old friends and ever growing children and grandchildren come through the door is always a pleasure!

Breakfast at the Trefeddian Hotel
We have seen members of staff leave the Trefeddian family and welcomed new team mates whist still maintaining our high standards of customer service. This has been recognised in the awards that we were proud to receive during 2023. These are The Good Hotel Guide Editors Choice for Seaside Hotels for the third consecutive year, The AA Hotel Services Breakfast Award 2023 and The TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice for 2023.
Lisa and Francesco from the Trefeddian Hotel
We congratulated two of our staff members who received their diplomas with Cambrian Training in a prestigious ceremony in Llandrindod Wells. Duty Manager Lisa has graduated with a Hospitality Management Diploma and Francesco, one of our fabulous waiters received a Diploma in Hospitality Services. There’s been a little bit of a baby boom at the Trefeddian this year!  Longstanding waitress, Emma gave birth to a beautiful baby boy called Luca on 1st December.  Lee, one of our talented chefs welcomed a baby girl, Seren, into his family in July and Receptionist, Michaela will be leaving us for a while in February to give birth to a baby girl!    We would also like to congratulate Tom Cave who made his return to rally driving in October of this year and won the Conwy Cambrian Rally.
We are all looking forward to the coming year with excitement as the hotel will have opened its doors 120 years ago. An achievement that can’t go by unnoticed and something that the family are very proud of, as are all of us staff members.
So, with the hotel being refreshed, rooms being repainted and our staff being recharged we embrace 2024 and all that the next 12 months brings, especially welcoming you, our guests, back through the doors of the Trefeddian.
