What our guests say...

"Should be 4* not 3*"  SEPTEMBER 2016

Perfect location just outside the very quaint Aberdovey. It overlooks the golf links and sea, perched high and with fantastic views. It's a short walk across the dunes to the beach. Very impressive building which is well maintained. We booked late and were only able to reserve a hill facing room which was spacious and pleasant enough.

Our tariff included breakfast (cooked to order and lovely) and dinner (5 courses). Whilst I would not say food was Michelin standard, most courses were very very good. Wines chosen well and excellent. We were lucky to have table with sea view. The dining room is large but you do not have to reserve timing and can adjust eating to less busy times. Tables are laid with white linen and the serving staff are brilliant. So are the rest of the bar, reception and ancillary staff.

The grounds are beautifully maintained with a putting green on the lawns. The pool and Jacuzzi looked good but we didn't use them as the weather was too nice to be inside.

Welcome to the Trefeddian Hotel, Aberdovey

Ideally located in Mid Wales, the village is the perfect base for exploring the surrounding area. Rich in history and beauty, there is plenty to see and do with undulating valleys and magnificent mountains.

Stretching out in front of the hotel is four miles of golden sandy beach, offering plenty of space for all to enjoy. Whether it be swimming, surfing, flying kites or making the most of the weather, the beach is magnificent and the envy of many.

Stroll along the powder soft sands of the Cambrian Coast, enjoy precious moments in our comfortable lounges and discover your adventurous side on a trek over the rolling hills of the Snowdonia National Park. Then, enjoy a dip in our indoor pool, an afternoon tea on one of the terraces or some good old-fashioned fun in the games room before retiring to one of our fifty nine light airy bedrooms, or wind down in a self catering hideaway.

Children love the simple elements of the village keeping them occupied for hours.  Crabbing from the jetty, donkey rides, building sandcastles, paddling feet and a lovely homemade ice cream to end the day…imagine!

We’re pleased you’ve found us! We are dedicated to your comfort and look forward to welcoming you to our family run hotel.
