“Summer Break” JULY 2015

We have stayed previously at the Trefeddian, been a couple years now. But we are constantly reminded of the hotel from the calendars they kindly send us every year.

We stayed in early July, had family room sea racing with balcony. The room was to a good standard, kids enjoyed them selves, weather was surprisingly warm (luck of the draw) and Alfie the terrier enjoyed his time running tirelessly on the beach.

Food was yet again to high standard, staff very helpful and friendly always a good morning and good night, courteous and polite. Attending to my wife's dietary requirements was no stress, kitchen handled it with ease.

The family enjoyed them selves, the new swimming pool looked great, modern & contemporary. Wifi through out the hotel as well now which is a great addition for reading the The Times Online in bed.

4th floor rooms looked fabulous after a recent refurb over the winter we were informed by the reception. Next time we will book a 4th floor room, but the hotel does not allow dogs up there so Alfie maybe summoned to the in laws for a week...

Trefeddian stands proud over the Golf Course and is a unique family run establishment, worth a visit if you want to try something different.

Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful stay, see you in 2016!

Welcome to the Trefeddian Hotel in Aberdovey...

Ideally located in Mid Wales, the village is the perfect base for exploring the surrounding area. Rich in history and beauty, there is plenty to see and do with undulating valleys and magnificent mountains.
Stretching out in front of the hotel is four miles of golden sandy beach, offering plenty of space for all to enjoy. Whether it be swimming, surfing, flying kites or making the most of the weather, the beach is magnificent and the envy of many.
Stroll along the powder-soft sands of the Cambrian Coast, enjoy precious moments in our comfortable lounges, and discover your adventurous side on a trek of the rolling hills of the Snowdonia National Park. Then, enjoy a dip in our indoor pool, an afternoon tea on one of the terraces or some good, old-fashioned fun in the games room before retiring to one of our fifty nine light, airy bedrooms, or wind down in a self-catering hideaway.

Children love the simple elements of the village keeping them occupied for hours.  Crabbing from the jetty, donkey rides, building sandcastles, paddling feet and a lovely homemade ice cream to end the day…imagine!

We’re pleased you’ve found us. We are dedicated to your comfort and look forward to welcoming you to our family-run hotel.
