Dog Friendly Hotel
For many of our guests, their faithful hound is a member of the family! The Trefeddian Hotel in Mid Wales is perfectly situated to explore the rolling hills and miles of walks that the Snowdonia National Park has to offer.
As our guest you are welcome to bring your dog into the grounds and the building of the hotel. For the comfort of other guests, we ask that you keep your dog on a lead and under control at all times. Dogs must not be left unattended.
Within the building, dogs are allowed in bedrooms on 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors, but not on the 4th floor. They are also welcome to stay in one of our self-catering properties (subject to certain limits - see self catering). Please let us know, when booking, if you will be bringing your dog. We politely request that you bring their favourite doggy bedding with you, and do not let them use the hotel beds or chairs. Food is not provided for animals. We make a charge of £12.00 per night per dog for dogs sleeping in guest accommodation.
Dogs are welcome to join you in the Library only (see Lounges) providing that they are on a lead and are well-behaved (no barking or whining allowed!). Dogs are not allowed into any of the other lounges, bar or dining room.
The hotel has a procedure in the eventuality of a flea problem resulting from pets staying in the bedrooms. We have a good working programme in place for cleaning within the Housekeeping department relating to rooms accessible to pets.
These points are listed in order to assist with the smooth running of the hotel for guests with and without dogs, thank you for your co-operation.
