Rainy Days
You wouldn’t come to Wales and not expect to see rain would you? We need it to keep falling so the mountains and livestock continue to thrive and the leeks keep on growing!...

End of Another Year ...
As another year draws to a close and the hotel hears the last footsteps leaving before the winter break, it's time to reflect on the events of 2019...

Its a new decade...welcome to 2020!
Christmas has come and gone the decorations and tinsel are all packed away, another rendition of auld langsyne has been sung, and now we are dashing into 2020. The hotel has been dusted down the heating is turned up and the lights are bright in the windows so come along and join us for a winter break.

Its panto time...oh no it isn't...oh yes it is!
This year sees the Aberdyfi players performing the well-known fairy tale Hansel and Gretel, with all the usual suspects including the wicked witch, dame and a troop of children...

2020 Marches On!
March 1st is Saint David’s Day – Dydd Gwyl Dewi Sant
This is the feast day of Saint David, the patron saint of Wales, and the date of his death in 589 AD. The feast has been regularly celebrated since the canonisation of David in the 12th century. Traditionally the Welsh costume is worn along with either leeks or daffodils.

Another year draws to a close
We reflect on 2020, a year like no other in the hotel's history.

Welcome to 2021
Christmas has come and gone, the decorations and tinsel packed away.
